Numerica Corporation is seeking to hire a full-time Front Desk Assistant. The Front Desk Assistant at Numerica will assist in the management of day-to-day office functions including: administrative support for office personnel, lobby reception, purchasing, library management

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-person and phone reception, greeting customers, guests and employees.
  • Assist in managing conference room scheduling.
  • Assist with meeting facilitation, including ordering meals and preparing conference room/meeting space, and visitor check in.
  • Assist in the management of the front desk, break room and supply room ensuring all are properly stocked and neatly organized. Order supplies as needed.
  • Provide support to managers as needed.
  • Provide support to accounting including scanning and file management. Basic understanding of accounting/purchasing functions is desired.
  • Assist contracts department with mailings.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, building maintenance companies and landlord to ensure facility needs are met.
  • Provide administrative support to various operational areas and employees as needed.
  • Posses an understanding and awareness of Company policies and procedures to ensure exceptional support is provided to employees and customers.
  • Assist in planning company events such as monthly birthday celebrations, annual company picnic, annual holiday party, and other events as needed.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.


Functional & Technical Skills

Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat application.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees and vendors.


Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 7-10 years administrative support experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree or equivalent training desired, but not required
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand on ladder.


Because of the nature of the work performed by Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. At a minimum, candidates must have U.S. citizenship and demonstrate a trustworthy background (e.g., clean criminal record, reasonable credit, no use of illegal drugs, etc.).
