DevSecOps Engineer
Numerica is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for our Fort Collins, CO office. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of information technology to include Windows, Linux, Cloud computing, and Cyber Security. This is a small team so you should be self-starter with a willingness to learn new things. What you will do:
- Work with Numerica’s software development teams to define and implement build, deployment and monitoring processes and tools;
- Improve software security posture by developing and integrating processes and tools to support vulnerability analysis and mitigation.
- Develop end-to-end automation of testing and deployment pipelines for software being delivered into critical Department of Defense systems;
- Work collaboratively with vendors and Numerica’s IT team to resource and improve CI/CD infrastructure for unclassified and classified development environments;
- Monitor and support all CI/CD systems and infrastructure;
- Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems;
Recommended Background and Experience:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another related area;
- Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production;
- Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux based environments;
- Software development experience for Department of Defense customers;
- Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices;
- Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and customers;
- Strong scripting and automation skills;
- A DevSecOps Engineer should have effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey salient details about processes and technology in a compelling manner to both experts and non-experts alike.
Nice to have:
- Experience with building, debugging, securing and deploying C++ applications;
- Experience with GitLab & GitLab CI/CD;
- Experience with containerization;
- Experience with AWS;
- Experience working within classified systems.
U.S. Citizenship Required
Due to the nature of the work performed at Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. At a minimum, this requires that a candidate be a U.S. citizen with a personal history indicating trustworthiness, reliability, and sound judgment (e.g., clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.).

Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually, plus incentives
